"The classes offered by Rachael Messer are an ABSOLUTE MUST if you wish to learn the honest truth to the insides of the voice over industry. She teaches etiquette, technique, and strategy to ANYONE wishing to make a living in the voice over field. Instead of a textbook-like word-dumping lecture, Rachael makes her classes super fun and ultimately engaging! I could go into detail about what I mean, but truthfully, my words cannot fully express what attending a class such as her's is 100% like...so if you really want to know, then take the time to sign up and be ready to experience her teachings for yourself! "My name is Keelin and I've taken a few of Rachael's classes and have enjoyed all of them. Everything just feels so casual even when taking lecture classes and I love how real and honest Rachael is when talking about the industry. I also love how she talks with her discord community and answers questions people have even if they haven't had a class with her yet and offers free QnA sessions. I have recommended her to all my friends who have started voice acting, even as just a hobby since I love how inclusive her classes are for people at different points in their voice acting journey. After taking the "Moving to the Next Level" course, I feel way more prepared to move into more professional work and am excited to keep working on my career path in the upcoming months. I feel way more confident on what steps I need to take next and feel I have someone I can go to if I have any questions that need answering" - @KeelinVoices

"I absolutely loved Analyze Your Vocal Quality. It was extremely informative, and Rachael was such a warm, entertaining instructor! I can't wait to take another class with Sunny Blue Studios." - Elijah Kim

"Hello! My name is Justin Gonzalez and you can find me @jtgonzalezvo.

Just recently took "Analyze Your Voice Quality" with Rachael Messer (which is also the first class I've taken with Rachael), and the first thing I noticed was how laid back and low pressure the class AND Rachael were. I usually go into these classes with some anxiety, but once the class started it all went away. Felt like we were all just people, just learning and talking about something we enjoy and love doing, which is voice acting. What I learned in this class was so insightful, and really taught me the things I should be listening for when it comes to voice acting and opened up my tool set to get real creative with auditions. Overall, 10/10, definitely looking forward to taking more classes with Rachael!"

"Rachael's Self Directing course was so helpful for understanding different ways to approach crafting my performances, whether solo or in a session. The advice and tips offered gave me a more mindful perspective on how to access the full potential of my roles as a voice actor. I also loved reviewing film clips to analyze different dialogue deliveries and assess what works and what doesn't. This is a great class to take, especially for anyone who is a frequent remote recorder!" - @JRoseReads

I had a lot fun with this session. It gave me a deeper dive into recognizing good acting that serves a purpose for the story and reflects the tone of the story and character versus bad acting that serves no purpose at all making it sound either awkward or almost comedic giving me further ideas to give myself proper direction in future auditions and projects. Would totally recommend this to anyone. My socials are at Twitter: @AmadaManaVA and name is Dante Amada.

"A really excellent class that covers a TON of ground in such a short time. If you want to get your arms around core knowledge like equipment, vocal technique/style, and get a taste of how to analyze other actors' work in order to learn from it, it's all here. Everyone stands to learn something, and Rachael is super engaging, encouraging, and fun to listen to." -@littlecuppajo

"This class is a shockingly large offering, from the way you should talk to clients, to getting clients as opposed to work, Rachael takes you through the ins and outs of this crazy world of commercials. To say you learn is an understatement with examples ranging videos to websites of additional info this is well worth your time if you are interested in commercial work or been away from the acting scene. Don't hesitate to sign up"

"Rachael Messer's Commercial Booking class is an essential if you want to get into working in commercial voice-over. Some of the materials covered include how to approach certain commercial styles, how to present yourself to clients and some of the potential pitfalls associated with beginners mistakes, and how you can prevent them. I recommend this class for beginners in voice work and experienced voice-actors who want to expand their work into commercial voice-over."

"Rachael provides a concise breakdown of social media marketing fundamentals and best practices that have to be part of an actor's baseline skill set in today's industry. The info is practical, clear, and perfect for actors unsure where to start building their presence online to get work. Rachael is an excellent, attentive instructor who keeps it entertaining from start to finish!"

-@littlecuppajo

"Rachael provided an in-depth lecture about her personal experiences and analytical discoveries behind social media marketing for actors, which I personally found very informative! These instructional pieces ranged from the pros and cons of certain online websites, do's and don't's for your online presence, and clear insights as to why your personal piece of media or post might not have done so well throughout the social network. This class does not only specialize in teaching you "where" to present yourself for your business, but also "how". If you're looking for a place to learn the tips and tricks to presenting yourself and your business through social media and marketing while having a group of classmates to ask the questions you might not think of first-hand; this is the place!"

"I was a little nervous when recording my 1st character demo. Especially when it was being done by someone such as accomplished and talented as Rachael. She quickly put my nerves at ease and it was one of the most fun experiences I have ever had! She blew me away with how great she made me sound! Most people told me they had to listen to the demo several times before they believed it was my voice on all of them! I would HIGHLY recommend her for any work and/or trainings. She is very knowledgeable and makes learning about the business and voice acting techniques a lot of fun!

I can’t thank her enough for how great my demo was! I won’t use anyone else for my character demos ever!!! I hope to get on her level one day! It would be AMAZING to get on a project and work WITH her! You are doing yourself a disservice if you don’t at least check into her studio!!" -BRYAN WHORTON

"While there were obvious nerves initially going into the calls with Rachael, those nerves were quick to disappear once we began working with one another. She's extremely knowledgeable, clear in her instructions, able to answer any questions I had, and fun to work with. It's safe to say I enjoyed my experience and would be happy to recommend her to anyone else." -KYLE NISHIMURA

"Rachael's Audio Engineering Class was certainly eye opening to me, as at times, I've struggled with finding that sweet spot between gain, normalizing, all of that! She helped to put things into perspective when it comes to clients and casting directors receiving your work or auditions. Now I'm certainly going to make things easier for them and will alter the way I edit my finished product. Rachael was also very encouraging, helpful and so down to earth too. I highly recommend taking one of her classes. :)"  -Chris Woodworth

"So I follow your discord and have been for a few months, found it from Twitter/X, and I absolutely love it. When I saw this class for audio engineering I had to jump on it. I currently edit the audio for a podcast and am self taught using Audacity, going well but I figured this class could help. And it did. Sure I’m not a voice actor but I’d love to do that even once, narrations and audio books too, but just seeing another programs layout and having you explain so much of what I see but don’t know what to call it. It was an amazing class and experience. I have a better idea how I can improve audio from starting at the beginning with a better setup, equipment, and levels. The energy you have in your instruction is immense and absolutely addicting. After hearing your work in anime and now this class, it’s a true honor. A great class and I will surely signup for more. Thank you for taking the time to help so many of us out." -Jeremy Montoya

"For someone who has never taken anything voice-acting related, I can honestly say this class really opens the door for anyone even remotely interested in the field. Rachael's easygoing and fun attitude makes you feel comfortable with yourself and in the presence of complete strangers. It paints the craft in a light that makes it seems approachable and tangible. Each week, I would look forward to learning the next segment and then commit it to heart. It allowed me to be creative and see that voice acting might be something I can actually do.

During my class, I learned about different kinds of voices, the "dos" and "don'ts" of the industry, proper care of your voice, audtioning advice, different types of sells (for advertising), voice reels, ettiquette, partnered scenes, and so much more. Six weeks was hardly enough time, and it left me wanting more. And the support from the other students was phenomenal. I've made some excellent friends in the six weeks we did class. Even now, I stay in touch with my fellow classmates as we help each other out in voice acting endeavors. Take it from me: The experience was informative, challenging, enlightening, and more fun than I've ever had in a class. If you're bored of your day to day job and want to pursue something that makes work fun and allowing your voice to be literally heard, take this class. I highly recommend it." - SPENCER CARTER
